Gabrielle E. Wolf is a Director of Innisfree M&A Incorporated. Ms. Wolf advises companies and investors on all aspects of shareholder engagement, with a focus on proxy contests, shareholder activism, hostile and friendly acquisitions, contested shareholder meetings, corporate governance and other proxy solicitation matters.
Prior to joining Innisfree, Ms. Wolf was an attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where she represented public companies in connection with preparing for and successfully defending against shareholder activists engaging in contested proxy solicitations, unsolicited acquisition proposals and other contests for corporate control. At Skadden, Ms. Wolf also advised clients on M&A transactions and corporate governance matters.
Ms. Wolf graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University, with a B.A. in American History and a minor in Germanic Studies, and earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar as well as a Note Editor for the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. Ms. Wolf is a member of The Phi Beta Kappa Society.
