Innisfree Named Top Proxy Solicitor in Activism by Bloomberg and Diligent Market Intelligence for 2023

March 4th, 2024 12:53 PM Eastern Standard Time

Innisfree has been named Top Proxy Solicitor for 2023 on Bloomberg’s Global Activism Score Card, with 57 deals and a market stake of $13.4 billion. Innisfree represented clients in four of the five top new campaigns ranked by market cap, as noted by Bloomberg. Innisfree was also recognized as #1 proxy solicitor in Diligent Market Intelligence “Advisor Awards 2023” for Total Issuer Representations in activism situations.

While 2023 witnessed uncertainty around the new universal proxy regime with issuers and activists taking little risk, we see that aversion subsiding.  Parties now know that while they must alter their tactics in light of the new regime, if they can prove their thesis for long-term value, they can defend their platform and win. 2024 is already seeing a spate of large, aggressive campaigns and Innisfree is here to help our clients navigate.

We thank our clients and fellow advisors for another year of successful collaboration and look forward to maintaining our legacy of excellence in 2024 and beyond.
